Chris Godfrey Wins The May Medal

The May Medal was played out in cold conditions still but Chris Godfrey managed to produce a superb back 9 and a 67 to seal a fantastic win, just edging out Sean McLernon on count back. Andy Hutchinson was the highest placed Rabbit with 69 and books his place with Chris Godfrey in the Gold Medal final. After an average front 9 with a gross 44, Chris kept a superbly steady drive to set him up for just four bogeys on the back 9. Negotiating the par 3s with pars Chris steered clear of the sixes and finished off with a 15 footer to claim a fantastic win.
